The practice of yoga is varied so we believe there is a practice for almost anyone. In this class series we will turn to the quieter practices of Hatha yoga,Yin Yoga and Restorative yoga to allow us to find ease through our body, mind, heart explorations and its way of affecting the whole being. Yoga is a science, art, and practice dedicated to offering a way to live fully and presently.
Each week we will explore gentle physical, mental, and breath practices to help you reduce stress with gentle movement, passive stretching, and relaxing techniques to promote a sense of well-being. To carry that into your everyday living, each week you will receive a home practice suggestion to use between classes for support. At the end of the six weeks you will have several practices to continue in your yoga practice and life practice, enhancing how you already live well with greater awareness, ease and enjoyment.
Class size is limited. Please register in advance. Classes meet 5:30-6:45pm September 21, 28 and October 5 , 12, 19, 26.
